Sound Words

Do you want the Love of Jesus Christ in your life?
Do you want to prepare yourself  for the Lord’s habitation?
We want to help you get there.

Follow these steps, this path, your road to salvation…
So then the Gospel of Christ is what brings salvation, and just what is the Gospel of Christ?

Rom 1.16 “For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek:”

1 Cor 15.1-4 “Moreover, brethren, I declare unto you the gospel which I preached unto you, which also ye have received, and wherein ye stand; By which also ye are saved, if ye keep in memory what I preached unto you, unless ye have believed in vain.”

Christ dying was an act of faith on His part. He left His position at the right hand of the father, became flesh and willingly died, and knowing (His faith) that God would raise Him from the dead and restore Him to the position of favor He once had.
“For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures;
And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures:”

Faith of Christ

Eph 2.8,9 “For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God:
Not of works, lest any man should boast.
Rom 10.9,10,13 “That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.
For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.
For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved”

Did you believe…

Rom 10.9 “That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved”
… really means what it says?

Did you acknowledge?

Rom 10.9 “That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.”
To confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus is to acknowledge that He is the only begotten son of God and that He is God incarnate and His blood cleanses us from all sin.

Are you a whosoever?

Rom 10.13 “For whosoever shall upon the name of the Lord shall be saved”

We all need Jesus.

Rom 3.23 “For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God”

We all will die, but with Christ we live.

Rom 6.23 “For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord”
The gift of God to us was the sacrificing His Son.
Christ died for YOU!

Rom 5.8 “But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us”
If you have procrastinated accepting Christ because you think you are not good enough – stop. You can never be good enough
(Rom. 3: 10-12). That’s why Christ died
for sinners – all sinners.

The Lord Jesus Christ saves you by His faith

Gal 2.16 “Knowing that a man is not justified by the works of the law, but by the faith of Jesus Christ, even we have believed in Jesus Christ, that we might be justified by the faith of Christ, and not by the works of the law: for by the works of the law shall no flesh be justified”

Can you say: I believe with all my heart thatJesus Christ died on the cross for all my sins, and that His faith is my salvation?

Then based upon the Word of God, if you believed you can claim Christ as Savior.

Look for His appearing!
2 Tim 4.7,8 “I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith.
Henceforth there is laid up for me a crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous judge, shall give me at that day: and not to me only, but unto all them also that love his appearing.”

What now?
The Spirit of God now lives inside you…

1 Cor 12.13 “For by one Spirit are we all baptized into one body, whether we be Jews or Gentiles, whether we be bond or free; and have been all made to drink into one Spirit.”
1 Cor 1.27 “But God hath chosen the foolish things of the world to confound the wise; and God hath chosen the weak things of the world to confound the things which are mighty;”
Think about it! You are joined to Christ.
You are part of His body.

He is the head – we are the parts (members).

… and the Spirit of God seals you forever.

Eph 1.13 “In whom ye also trusted, after that ye heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation: in whom also after that ye believed, ye were sealed with that holy Spirit of promise.”
If you were sealed by the Holy Spirit, and you were. Then nothing you do can break the seal. God is the only one that can do that and he sealed you until He brings you to His home
far above all heavens.
Eph. 4: 30 “And grieve not the Holy Spirit of God, whereby ye are sealed until
the day of redemption.”
Here’s your armor!

Put it on.

Eph 1.13 “For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.
Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.
Stand therefore, having your loins girt about with truth, and having on the breastplate of righteousness;
And your feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace;
Above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked.
And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God:
Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and watching thereunto with all perseverance and supplication for all saints;
And for me, that utterance may be given unto me, that I may open my mouth boldly, to make known the mystery of the gospel,
For which I am an ambassador in bonds: that therein I may speak boldly, as I ought to speak.”
God has a plan for you!
It starts with understanding your calling.

Phil 3:13-15 “Brethren, I count not myself to have apprehended: but this one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind, and reaching forth unto those things which are before,
I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus.
Let us therefore, as many as be perfect, be thus minded: and if in any thing ye be otherwise minded, God shall reveal even this unto you.”

Are you prepared? Men will deceive you.

Col 2.8-10 “Beware lest any man spoil you through philosophy and vain deceit, after the tradition of men, after the rudiments of the world, and not after Christ.
For in him (Jesus) dwelleth all the fulness of the Godhead bodily.
And ye are complete in him, which is the head of all principality and power.”

Man is deceitful – Religion is a farce – it makes rules
to follow that are not of God.
Trust the Word of God, not man, regardless of their title.
Then keep Trusting in the Lord.
Trust in the Lord

Set your affections on Heaven!

Col 3.1-3 “If ye then be risen with Christ, seek those things which are above, where Christ sitteth on the right hand of God.
Set your affection on things above, not on things on the earth.
For ye are dead, and your life is hid with Christ in God.”
That’s your inheritance.
God rewards your faithfulness…

Eph 1.3 “Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who hath blessed us with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ.

..with blessings.

God chose you before
He created the world.

Eph 1.4 “According as he hath chosen us in him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before him in love.

The Church the Body of Christ is a special group of believers that God chose before He called Abraham to be the father of the Jews. He chose to keep it a secret (hide it) until a specified time. (Eph. 3:1-12).
